SPEECH IS SILVER BUT SILENCE IS GOLDEN

Son Darren and I dined out tonight, thus delaying my time frame to write something for my blog site!

However, looking out towards the Coral Sea from a most beautiful location North of Cairns, we watched the daylight fade to a beautiful tropical evening. Sea side palms gently swaying in the breeze. Sea calmly lapping on the shore, caressing clean white sand. Salty sea mist spraying lightly onto our faces. The smells of sea, sand and tropical blooms, drifting softly within the range of our senses. Refreshing thoughts crept calmly into my mind. Voice quiet. Spasms relaxing. Feelings peaceful. Concentration drifting.

My never ending battle with speech seemed far away. No need to concentrate on getting sound out through tightly closed vocal cords for indeed, silence is golden. I sat, pondering the gentle flow of spirit, life giving renewal of hope and the great strength of love. Within those precious moments I held within my heart all my loved ones, here in this life and those who have gone before me on their soul’s journey, that together we may all just rest a while and be – just be.

I hope you had a great evening listening to the music and singing too.
We're off to Green Island today.
Will come down tomorrow to help you with the things we discussed.

Thank you Megan. Dinner and listening to Ray's music was really nice. It was a great evening. Darren took me out half an hour early so we could sit on the sea shore for that time in the evening dusk before going into the upstairs restaurant for our booked table. Barramundi was yummy and oh so fresh. Mouth watering stuff! Looking forward to you helping me learn more blogging skills tomorrow. Love you. Mum. XX
