(follow the links, enjoy your journey of discovery and learn more about one of the many forms of dystonia)
Asking treating neurologist, clinical nurse consultant, family doctor or someone on your treatment team is always a good start. However, apart from your neurologist and clinical nurse consultant, others may not be able to offer too much information without looking for it themselves.
Knowing where to look for information is half the battle! Feeling confident about navigating through each site we access is an excellent way to learn more about our area of interest. Making time to research our selected topic is essential.
With knowledge comes understanding and the ability to focus upon fact. Factual information assists us in making informed choices. We are then able to confidently discuss the area we research with others. In this way we are able to dismiss any myths associated with our fears.
Empower yourself today. Be informed. Make decisions based upon wisdom and fact!
Thank you for spending some time with me. Please, do stop by again.
