Merry Christmas Mum

Merry Christmas Mum.

I have set this blog up for you so that you can communicate with other people who also have Spasmodic Dysphonia, so that you can continue to consciousness raise about the disability, and so that you have a supportive and global community that works together to eradicate disability discrimination.

As part of this Christmas gift, I undertake to show you how to post blogs and maintain your new support group web site.

Hi Mum and thank you to Anonymous. I wasn't sure what gasser meant so I looked it up: Gas A performance that moves you. Ex: The way he 'wails' is a real "gas." (or Gasser).
This is positive Mum. Thanks Anon for being supportive (and Jade too!)

Megan. What a very Merry Christmas. Thank you for such a great Christmas gift. Although we spoke on the phone, it was hard for me. This is such a surprise. I think I posted a comment on somewhere else instead of here ... dur! You are as wonderful as ever. Your gift is so loving, practical, thoughtful and all those other things I said that went somewhere else!!! I eagerly await for your return so you can help me navigate my way around all this and also contribute with some informative blogs. Being 60 whatever means I am allowed to admit to not understanding it all. I emailed lots of people telling them about this. Julie, Coral and Maureen, replied straight away saying how great it is and that you have done a terrific job. Lots of love, Mum xxx

Anonymous. Thank you for a great response. I am very excited about this site and yes, it is indeed a gasser - sounds rather like my ancestral Geordie-land speak?? With my spasmodic dysphonia speak, I sound nothing like my Geordie Grandmother and family! S.B.

Jade and Mark. Thank you and Merry Christmas to you, most beautiful Granddaughter and wonderful Grandson-in-law. I will indeed speak loud and clear about how difficult life is for people with this disability and how, through dreadful experiences, I am so aware that very few professional people know anything about this neurological disorder or what effect their lack of understanding has on those of us who live with dystonia - of any form. Love you. Grandma.

Hi Hoody. Love your treasure of comment. Yep. Know what you mean. Could be very easy to get bogged in a blog! Just as well Grandad was blessed with such great celestial navigation skills, ay (God bless him). Hoping some has rubbed off on me to make navigation, even of a blog site, easier!!! Love you. XXXX
