Los Angeles and New York are currently hosting the G’Day USA: Australia Week festival. The festival promotes great things about Australia to Americans. “So?” You may well ask, “what great things does Oz down under have to offer?” Well. For starters, our tourism, film, business, food and wine industries are all little bewdies. Fair dinkum mate, if YOU live over there, ‘ave a squiz!
Fran Bailey, Australia’s Federal Minister for Tourism made an announcement at a press conference in Los Angeles. Fran proclaimed Terri Irwin’s appointment as a tourism ambassador for Australia. Bonzer, ‘ay. Terri will make a top ambassador for Oz, especially with help from her daughter, Bindi. What a great little girl she is.
