For goodness sake, talk properly. You can't go on speaking like that. It is embarrassing!
"No, no! It is never my choice"
she said in her funny voice,
"‘tis spasmodic dysphonia
and maybe pneumonia"
as she gagged on her swallow of ice.
Do you have a funny voice and or difficulty swallowing? Do you know anyone who has? Speech impairment due to spasmodic dysphonia creates a flow on effect of communication difficulty that would be hard to understand unless experienced personally. The good news is, there is a lot of support if you know where to seek it!
